Judge rejects attempt to halt GA Senate runoffs

Atlanta lawyer Lin Wood on Monday lost on Monday his attempt to stop Georgia’s ongoing U.S. Senate runoff elections when a federal judge dismissed his case. The runoff elections, between Republican U.S. Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loefller,  began with mail-in balloting in November and early voting started on Dec. 14. The elections conclude on Jan. 5. Wood has been involved with other litigation to try to help Republican President Donald Trump challenge the results of the presidential election. He has been unsuccessful.
