NY election changes encourage college student voting, prompt confusion among officials

Each dorm building on Vassar College’s campus has a voting advisor, someone to remind students to register to vote and answer questions about the process. This isn’t typical on many campuses. But at Vassar, where the campus is split between three election districts, having someone remind students who changed dorms to reregister to vote and provide information on where polling places are located is helpful. The polling places also differ in their accessibility to the student body. Saba Ali, Poughkeepsie Journal.
