Eight of Ohio’s 88 counties failed to meet a state deadline to upgrade their security in preparation for this year’s presidential election, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose said Wednesday. All eight failed to complete a section of the state directive dealing with security training, according to LaRose, the state’s top elections official.
