Guam sees spike in registrations thanks to automatic voter reg

Guam has seen an early spike in numbers among those wanting to vote for the first time in 2020, mainly because of a new process that allows voter registration every time a person applies for a new or renewal Guam driver’s license. Newly-registered voters as a result of the “motor voter” process reached 920 from March to April, compared to only 10 to 20 a month during this time of the year.
