Judge lets lawsuit over Spanish-language ballots go ahead against 32 FL counties

A long-running legal battle over Spanish-language ballots for Puerto Rican voters in 32 Florida counties will move forward, after a federal judge refused to dismiss the lawsuit. The case centers on allegations that elections officials have not complied with part of the federal Voting Rights Act related to Spanish speakers who were educated in Puerto Rico.
