The Nassau County Legislature voted Monday to borrow $3.7 million to implement early voting beginning 10 days before Election Day, in October and November. Presiding Officer Richard Nicolello (R-New Hyde Park) said the funding was necessary to upgrade technology at the Board of Elections to make sure that those who vote early don’t also vote on Election Day.
