NV Leg OKS mail ballots for November

Nevada will stick to a mostly vote-by-mail election format in November after the Legislature on Sunday passed a controversial revamp of political contests conducted in an emergency. Approval of Assembly Bill 4, one of the top items on Gov. Steve Sisolak’s special session agenda, comes after a mostly mail-in June primary election that saw some voters wait several hours at one of the “extremely limited” in-person polling places state officials kept open during the coronavirus outbreak.
