OH secretary of state announces sanctions against Summit Co. BOE
Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose has sanctioned the Summit County Board of Elections, in part for its poor handling of the November presidential election. The problems at the board, LaRose contends, “likely” led to disenfranchisement of qualified voters – namely, people convicted of a felony but not incarcerated and eligible to vote – and at least one instance of voter fraud through a dead person’s active registration.
