Ulster County elections commissioner to wear ‘I Voted’ spider costume on Saturday

Voters in New Paltz and Kingston are apt to run into Board of Election Commissioner Ashley Dittus Saturday in full whimsical spider regalia. Dittus, the board’s Democratic commissioner, is expected to appear wearing an “I Voted” costume that features the viral sticker and winner of the board’s “I Voted” contest. According to social media posts from the Ulster County government, Dittus will be at early voting polling places in Kingston from noon to 1 p.m. and in New Paltz from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Paul Kirby, Daily Freeman.
