  • The Power of State Constitutional Rights

Join the Brennan Center for Justice, State Court Report, and the Northwestern University Law Review for a two-day symposium at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law exploring the future of state constitutional rights, including the substantive rights protected by state constitutions, state constitutional amendments, and emerging issues in areas such as LGBTQ+ rights and voting rights. What happened?

From Maine to California, voters went to the polls, mailboxes and dropboxes this week to finish voting in the 2025 election. 

In addition to the results, while there were certainly some headline-grabbing situations, like bomb threats in New Jersey and e-poll book issues in Pennsylvania, all-in-all it was a fairly smooth, fairly typical Election Day in America.
